Hello, I’m Raveen — the heart and creative force behind Ethereal Frames.
My journey in photography has been a blend of passion, curiosity, and a deep desire to capture the genuine, unscripted moments that make life rich and meaningful.
Growing up, I was drawn to storytelling, but it wasn’t until I picked up a camera that I found my true voice. Photography became my way of showing how I see the world — through a lens that values authenticity, emotion, and depth.
Over the past four years, I’ve honed my craft in lifestyle photography, specializing in couples and elopements.
My time as a portrait photographer at The Artona Group in Vancouver taught me how to capture people naturally and confidently, while assisting visual artist Dina Goldstein on her OG Punk exhibition in 2021 deepened my understanding of visual storytelling and artistic direction.
Those experiences reinforced my belief that powerful imagery doesn’t just show — it feels.

“I've been a fan of Raveen's photography for a long time but never got the chance to do a proper photoshoot with him, until one time he visited Sri Lanka. I was able to book a couple photoshoot with him, and it paid off well.
Raveen is a very friendly guy who was all in from the point of choosing the best location for the shoot. His style of photography is very different from what I've experienced before with other photographers. He rarely asked to pose - so we could be ourselves and Raveen did the magic. The session was stress free and felt more like a romantic evening rather than a photoshoot. Final edited photos had a very earthy and moody aesthetic - another reason I loved Raveen's work from the beginning.”
